$100 for senior dues.

How the senior offer works, who qualifies, and what Great Lakes Credit Union requires. Last updated October 21, 2026.

High school seniors who complete a WYMIS One-Day Intensive that lists this offer can earn $100. The $100 is deposited into a Fresh Checking account the student opens with Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) through our partner Cambio. It is not paid in cash, by check, or directly to any school.

Who qualifies

  • Students currently enrolled as high school seniors.
  • Registered for, and attending the full day of, a One-Day Intensive where the offer is listed. Current events with the offer: Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
  • A signed WYMIS consent form on file before the event.
  • One award per student.

How the $100 is paid

  • WYMIS gives eligible students access to the Fresh Checking account offered by Great Lakes Credit Union in partnership with Cambio.
  • The $100 is deposited into the student's Fresh Checking account when the account is opened.
  • The money belongs to the account holder. WYMIS offers it to help with senior dues, and the student decides how to use it. WYMIS does not pay dues to any school.

Account requirements

GLCU, not WYMIS, sets the requirements for the account and decides whether to open it.

  • GLCU membership, identity verification, and account approval are required. Approval is not guaranteed, and WYMIS cannot open an account for a student.
  • GLCU waives the $25 minimum opening deposit on Fresh Checking for WYMIS students. GLCU membership requires a share savings deposit of $1 or more; confirm current requirements with GLCU before opening.
  • Students under 18 may need a parent or guardian on the account, depending on GLCU's rules.
  • The account is governed by GLCU's own terms, fee schedule, and membership agreement. See the Fresh Checking page on glcu.org (opens in a new tab).

Taxes

An account bonus may count as income. GLCU may report it to the IRS and send the account holder a tax form.

  • WYMIS is a program under the umbrella of Love Nation Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. WYMIS is not a bank or credit union and does not provide financial accounts or financial advice.
  • Great Lakes Credit Union and Cambio are independent organizations. Accounts at GLCU are federally insured by NCUA.
  • WYMIS may change or end this offer at any time. Any change will be posted on this page.
